ARCHIBALD PRIZE 2023

All finalists and winners of the Archibald and Packing Room Prizes will be on display

Since 1921, the Archbald has highlighted figures from all walks of life, from famous faces to local heroes, reflecting back to us the stories of our times.

This exclusive Victorian event will bring tens of thousands of visitors to the Mornington Peninsula to enjoy the works on display and the immersive program of events and art experiences.

Established in 1921, Archibald Prize is now more than a century old and is judged by the trustees of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

EXTRAORDINARY DISPLAY

For the first time ever, there are more works by women (30) than men (27) in the Archibald finalists.

This exclusive Victorian event will bring tens of thousands of visitors to the Mornington Peninsula to enjoy the works on display and the immersive program of events and art experiences.

Established in 1921, Archibald Prize is now more than a century old and is judged by the trustees of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
